			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are doing a poll for a possible trip to NYC. Depending on the poll outcome we will decide whether to do this fundraiser. The details are as follows.</p>
<p>The trip would cost $40.00 a person</p>
<p>We would need to fill the entire bus with 52 passengers.</p>
<p>7 Hours  in NYC to do what you want.</p>
<p>The poll is on facebook and below is the link. Agree if you would go on the trip, Disagree if you would not. Then comment on which day best suits you Friday Saturday or Sunday.</p>
<p>No date has been set. We will decide at the next Reunion meeting if we will go ahead with the trip.</p>

<div>Lebanon High Reunion Committee Meeting<br />
Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 6 p.m.<br />

<p>Committee meeting began at 6:08 p.m. with Ellen welcoming everyone.</p>
<p>The committee reviewed minutes from 11/5/11.</p>
<p>Account Balance as of 3/23/12 is $2300.25. There were a few withdrawals for printing/driving to get fundraisers.</p>
<p>Venue’s<br />
1. Fort Indiantown Gap – Ellen spoke with the lady and scheduled a meeting to see the venue on April 21 at Noon. She asked that committee members interested in coming should meet at her house at 11:30. Katoora and Stasia said they would be available. She further mentioned that the venue would have no room rental fee plus the contact would decorate for us. The only issue could be with the DJ and Ellen will talk to the contact further about this. Denise and Shawn asked to see the contract before anyone signs it. Both want to make sure there aren’t any hidden charges. Ellen will follow up with Denise and Shawn after the meeting. There were a few questions that should be asked at the meeting:<br />
a. Does the group have to clean up and set up or is that taken care of by the venue?<br />
b. How much would it cost for a bartender in the room?<br />
c. Individuals who are not part of our group, would they be allowed to come into our room?<br />
d. Discussion about the DJ.<br />
2. Hebron Fire Hall – this would be the second choice of the group. They will charge $400 meeting rental for four hours and $25 Bartender fee. They don’t have a minimum number of people.<br />
3. Another option might be a different venue on Fort Indiantown Gap. Ellen will look into that.</p>
<p>Fundraisers<br />
1. Candy Place &#8211; Ellen found a place that charges $5 for a bag of candy, nuts, chocolate, etc. Then she further explained that each bag sold could have a profit from $1.80- $3.80. The group agreed that this was a good idea for a sale and decided to sell the following products:<br />
a. Mini Red Fish – Profit $3.50<br />
b. Mini Chocolate Pretzels – Profit $3.80<br />
c. Gummi Bears – Profit $3.25<br />
d. Sunflower Seeds – Profit $3.30<br />
e. Caramel Creams – Profit $3.70<br />
f. Sweet Temptations – Profit $2.00<br />
g. Fiesta Sunshine – Profit $2.75<br />
h. Banana Chips – Profit $3.50<br />
Ellen will contact the company on Monday and set up the sale that will start the week of April 2 and end April 23. All money and order forms are due to Ellen by April 22. The tentative pick-up date is Thursday, April 26 from 3-8 p.m. at Ellen’s house. The committee asked that the orders be separated per seller.  Ellen found out after the meeting that these will not be separated so she will have to do that when the order is ready<br />
2. Friendly’s Fundraiser – Katoora explained that she talked to someone at Friendly’s and that the fundraiser has to occur from Mon-Thurs. She also found that we have to hand out vouchers to receive 20% of each order. The lady also mentioned that Wednesday nights are not good since the kids’ meals are less expensive. Maybe do it on a Thursday since some receive their paychecks that day. The committee decided to move forward with this fundraiser for Thursday, June 28 and Katoora will set it up and let us know what to do next.<br />
3. NYC Bus Trip – Denise talked with D.B. Fisher and found out that you have to charter a 52 passenger bus for $1400. To make this profitable they suggested that the group charge at least $40. The committee was concerned whether or not people would do this. Ellen suggested polling the Facebook page and see if anyone would be interested and if they would pay $40 to go on a bus trip. Denise also asked to Ellen is she could see poll what day of the week is better – Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Janell and Ellen will work on this.</p>
<p>Reunion Committee Cuts<br />
Ellen mentioned that there were some listed on the website that haven’t been involved in the committee. She asked that the committee decide whether these individuals should be cut from the committee. The committee agreed that Tiffany Moody and Addie Whitman McCauley would no longer be listed as committee members. Ellen will send an email to Shawn with these names to be taken off the website.</p>
<p>Reunion Website<br />
A few of the committee members asked if they could change their pictures and Ellen said sure. She asked that you send updated pictures to her and she will forward to Shawn to make these changes.</p>
<p>Other Discussions<br />
It was determined that Ellen has to contact everyone to find out if they are attending the meetings and helping with the fundraisers. Since this was taking up so much of her time, the committee agreed to delegate some of the responsibilities. Denise will send out an email to the committee members reminding them of the meeting and asking whether or not they plan on attending. Janell will update Facebook. Ellen will send Denise the email addresses of the committee members and will add Janell as an administrator to the Facebook page.</p>
<p>Next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at Ellen’s House.</p>

<p>Alyssa Hernandez and Michael Leddick moved out of the area but will still continue in the committee through fundraising</p>
<p>Review of minutes from last meeting. We had narrowed the places for the reunion to Lantern Lodge and Holiday Inn Grantville and the Hershey Auto Museum.</p>
<p>Denise Ott and I went to visit the Lantern Lodge and we were impressed but the fact that we would have to have a minimum of 125 people turned us off to the idea of having it there. We could potentially lose a lot of money with this if only 75 people showed up. The Hershey Auto Museum Shawn Woodhouse was looking into getting a better price for. That idea did not pan out and the Museum was just too expensive. Holiday Inn in Grantville after many attempts never got back to us.</p>
<p>Account balance: I made a withdrawal from the account for $50.00 for printing materials and Ink. I also made a deposit for $100.00 from the Avon sale. Our Balance as of 11/5/11 is $1744.00.</p>
<p>The new list of venues we are looking into are</p>
<ol>
<li>The Hebron</li>
<li>The Timbers</li>
<li>The Community Club (former NCO Club) Fort Indiantown Gap</li>
<li>American Legion</li>
<li>Mount Zion</li>
</ol>
<p>I will be getting information to all Committee members and we will take a vote VIA our next meeting or by email.</p>
<p>New class list updated and given to committee members We are still trying to locate approx. 90 Students. Missing student list is updated on our official website <a href="http://www.lhsclassof93.com/">www.lhsclassof93.com</a> if anyone knows how to get a hold of these people let one of us know.</p>
<p>Janell Tropasso had some questions regarding the invites for the reunion. Some people were apprehensive about giving their addresses out. If anyone would like their address marked private I am willing to do this that way I will be the only one seeing the information. The school will not be updated and the committee will only see private on their list. I was asked to do this with some people already and it is working out good.  She brought up doing invites through Facebook. There are some concerns with doing it this way which will be explained in the votes part.</p>
<p>Fundraisers</p>
<p>We had three candle companies, one coffee/cocoa company, and two cookie dough companies to choose from for fundraising Stasia Miller brought information for a Sheetz book which will be considered in the future. Chris Knott had a Friendly’s Night in mind which gives 10% for every patron that eats at Friendly’s. No coupons just walk in and eat. Katoora Rohrer is looking into setting a date and get more info for end of March early April 2012.</p>
<p>Votes</p>
<p>We voted in Blue Mountain Candles as our fundraiser this time around. They are 26 oz double wicked double scented candles. There are 200 scents to choose from We are asking $15.00 per candle. The sale will run from 11/5/11 to 12/2/11 orders and money due no later than 12/2/11 so the candles will be delivered by Christmas. If you are interested in buying a candle or selling for us We could use all the help we can get in order to have a nice reunion for 2013. Please consider buying or selling If you want to buy see any one of our committee members. If you want to sell please see me either by FB IM or Email I will get you all the information you need. There are some people who are not part of the committee contributing and it is so great to see.</p>
<p>We Voted in Facebook invites AND mailing invites We WILL NOT be selling tickets at the door therefore you will have to pre pay for your tickets. This is the concern with a Facebook invite only.  How would we get the money? The other problem is maybe votes will not be accepted because of the cost of the meal we need an accurate number.  If you do not have a ticket there will not be an opportunity to get one at the door. This is so everyone has a good time and can enjoy the reunion. Last reunion people sat and took money through the entire reunion and it was not enjoyable. We will have a ticket taker who will not be responsible for money just collecting tickets.</p>
<p>The meeting ended at 7:03pm and the next meeting is scheduled for March 24, 2012 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Location to be disclosed closer to the time.</p>

<p>Our Meeting started with a 20 min Q &amp; A from Casey Sheehe District Sales Manager with Avon. Last meeting we as a group decided to Vote in a Q &amp; A for the possibility of a future Avon fundraiser. This was brought to the table by Kathy Whitman committee member and Avon Representative. Our profit off this fundraiser would be 30 % net after commissions Casey said the fundraiser would take about 30 days to kick off. We should sell for 2 weeks. We discussed that all the papers needed for this fundraiser would be donated.. Kathy Whitman would be in charge of distributing materials to each member, picking up orders and money from Ellen Kuhnert, sorting each sale and delivery to each member. We were told the best way to do this sort of fundraiser is to pick 2 products we think we could sell. Thank You Casey for coming on a Sunday to answer our questions and give us insight on how the fundraiser would work.</p>
<p>After Casey left we voted in the fundraiser. – 7 yes – 1 no, majority ruling that we do the fundraiser.</p>
<p>We decided as a group the two products we were going to sell would be bug spray and bubble bath. Focusing on summer and kids and at the same time thinking about adults. We voted that Kathy Whitman would head this fundraiser. The details of the sale are listed below.</p>
<p>Avon Sales Representative Kathy Whitman will Email <strong>AND</strong> send through the mail the materials needed to make this fundraiser happen. She will be the one to answer any questions or concerns. She will have until <strong>June 13, 2011</strong> to get all materials to each member. If you do not receive the information please contact either Ellen Kuhnert or Kathy Whitman directly. She will pick up orders and money from Ellen Kuhnert. She will sort and deliver the orders to each member.</p>

<p><strong>Ellen Kuhnert will accept cash only. No personal checks or mailing money unless you make prior arrangements. This will be at the digression of Ellen. </strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Delivery will be scheduled July 16<sup>th</sup> sometime in the afternoon. Make arrangements for delivery with Kathy Whitman.</strong></p>
<p>Other business:</p>
<p>We are still looking for addresses. The addresses we have are 15 years or older. This is part of the reason people have not gotten a formal invite for past reunions. A lot of people are on Facebook. Suggestion was made to email people and just ask for an address update. Closer to the date of our reunion we will announce if anyone has already given their address and has changed their address since 2010 to contact us with the address update.  We are still looking for approx. 150 addresses. <p>By the next meeting we will have all information on venues and make a decision on which place we will reserve. We will look into booking rooms at the hotels at a discount rate.</p>

<p>Hebron- Too small</p>
<p>Prescott- Too many hidden costs</p>
<p>Mount Zion- Too small</p>
<p>Marbella’s (the waterfall room) – Has went Bankrupt too many times Fear of closing.</p>
<p>We Voted in All The Way Live DJ Services (Shawn Woodhouse’s Business) at $250.00 for 4 hours and additional hours at a $50.00 rate.</p>
<p>Our Account As of 3/31/2011 is: 1598.50</p>
<p>There was a 65.00 withdrawal for cost of website and miscellaneous supplies such as stamps, printing ink.</p>
<p>We vote in that we <strong>WILL NOT</strong> be selling tickets at the door the night of the reunion. You must prepay for your tickets. Another reason it is very important to have current addresses.</p>
<p>We voted in a commitment policy for our committee members- If you want to be part of our committee you must attend 2 meetings a year <strong>OR</strong> do 2 fundraisers a year.  If this policy is not met you will be considered off the committee.</p>

<p>Catherine Kreider will look into the possibility of having Bus trips as a fundraiser. Places mentioned Atlantic City, New York, and Baltimore.</p>
<p>Kaufman’s Barbeque was voted out due to being too risky. We will look into Hersco.</p>
<p>Candle fundraiser- Keystone Candle Company</p>
<p>Cookie Dough- The Market in Grantville and The Classic Cookie Company details next meeting</p>
<p>Coffee Specialty Drinks- Java Joes and Ugly Mug details next meeting</p>
<p>Another Hoss’s Night- will discuss at next meeting</p>
<p>Candy and goodies fundraiser- Will discuss next meeting.</p>
<p>Different discount cards- Will discuss next meeting.</p>
